DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Clerical Assistant 3, you will provide clerical and office support within the Certification, Accreditation and Licensing Division to maintain accurate records and provide licensure to the public. Work includes reviewing incoming applications and submitted fees for accuracy. You will process invoice payments, researching the bureau's database and verifying the correct accounts with the payment stubs received from Central Collections. Additional duties to include but not limited to:
- Processing correspondence for changes to owner, responsible party, and location information
- Processing equipment change requests in the system which involves detailed file research supporting these changes requested by customers or inspectors
- Initiating detailed research to respond to Right to Knows and subpoenas submitted to us for the Certification, Accreditation and Licensing (CAL) program areas from legal
- Assisting the general public, as well as inspectors, in resolving invoice problems, address changes, certificate requests, scheduling inspections, and other items as necessary

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. After completion of the in-office probationary period, this position is eligible to telework up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
