SUMMARY

The supervisor oversees daily departmental operations for efficiency; supervises assigned staff. A high level of discretion and independent judgement is required to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the Radiology team and its customers. This position must be able to prioritize patient examinations and team needs based on hospital demand

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field OR Two years of college related coursework in Radiologic, Health Sciences or Administrative related field is required. In lieu of college related coursework, four years of related experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field Preferred
  • Requires six (6) or more years of job related experience including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior supervisory/ leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Current registration in modality specified for area assigned with at least one the following governing bodies: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Registration options include: Bone Densitometry (BD), Breast Sonography (BS) Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Cardiovascular Interventional radiography (CV), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Mammography (M), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Quality Management (QM), Radiation Therapy (T), Radiography (R), Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.), Sonography (S), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Vascular Sonography (VS) Nurse in State of Georgia
  • Must have exceptional written and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
  • Must have excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Must have strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Must be able to proficiently demonstrate and perform all technical operations of the assigned modality
  • Participate in Organization Performance Improvement initiatives
