Position Description:

Alcon is seeking a motivated, independent, and innovative candidate. This role will focus on driving completion of small projects and research, with a highlight in warehouse trends and future transformation of distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching warehouse trends

  • Warehouse KPI harmonization

  • Attending symposiums

  • Collaborate with Texas A&M's Engineering Experiment Station (TEES)

  • Deliver report outlining Alcon's Warehouse Opportunities

  • Creating a comprehensive report on Alcon's future warehouse plans

  • This position may require up to 2 weeks of travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op. December 2025 graduation date or later

  • Must be pursuing at least a Bachelors level degree in: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Management, Project Management or related major

  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0

  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)

  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)

  • Ability to commit to a 10-12 week, full time (40 hours per week) summer internship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a graduate degree

  • Technical ability around Microsoft Excel and other applications

  • Analytical and Detail Oriented

  • Global Mindset

  • Project Management Experience

  • Effective communicator
