Responsibilities

The Sponsor provides risk and opportunities guidance on emerging technologies and gather business insights on products. The Sponsor leverages technology, combined with subject matter expertise, to conduct these activities. The Sponsor is seeking an experienced PM/SI with excellent communication and technology understanding to assist with the Group's Front Office operations.

The PM/SI will work directly with senior managers in the group and assist with developing briefings, plans, and policies so that they successfully execute its mission objectives. The PM/SI will serve as a focal point in support of the group's communications, staffing, and corporate taskings. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Tracking and maintaining status of assessment activities to ensure timely completion and report production.
  • Maintaining and coordinating response on official actions and ad hoc taskings.
  • Coordinating staff and contractor on-boarding/off-boarding activities to include facilities and system accesses and Familiarization Training.
  • Tracking department acquisitions for supplies and event materials.
  • Supporting strategic communications across the group and with the Department and Center level offices.
  • Coordinating with Group managers and division level EXO to ensure that staffing, space, and schedules are aligned and documented in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that Front Office processes are defined and streamlined, and SOPs are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the external contractor to ensure meetings and events are communicated to the organization, and logistics are coordinated.
  • Participate in the organizations events to execute plans and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Five or more years of project management experience with managing scope, schedule, and requirements.
  • Two or more years of experience with the Sponsor's systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work closely and collegiately with Sponsor's Department and Centers and varied elements with the organization.
  • Proven ability to execute forward momentum with ambiguous directions.
  • Ability to foster and facilitate strategic partnership across organizational boundaries to positively impact mission delivery.
  • Experience identifying measures or indicators of performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the process/office.
  • Experience in contingency planning and continuity of operations to ensure that mission critical activities are maintained during emergencies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytic skills.
  • Ability to use MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting the Sponsor's emerging technology mission.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management certification.
