Job Summary

Production Clerk is responsible for assisting with the production process flow and maintenance task co-ordination. Duties include assisting with trounble shooting and reporting of equipment issues, measuring and recording production data, helping to expedite and verify production paperwork, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

The purpose of a Production Clerk is to support the production process of a company by performing administrative duties related to the production process. This includes tracking process orders and production records, support with co-ordinating production schedules, coordinating paperwork for production operations and maintenance requests related to production, and ensuring accuracy of product information in databases.

The Production Clerk is responsible for assisting the production team in the day-to-day operations of the production area. The Production Clerk will assist in tracking production orders, and coordinate communication between production staff and other departments including Maintenance, Quality and Food safety. The Production Clerk will ensure that all production orders are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities will also include following up on production updates and maintaining accurate records of production orders and work orders. The Production Clerk will also support the management team in any additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications and traits

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills ( Spanish is an advantage)
  • Computer literacy using Micrtosoft packages
  • Food safety knowledge and experience
  • EHS knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of equipment and basic operations
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Systematic administrative abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
