Position and Responsibilities Overview
Senior Manager of Talent Development will drive the development and implementation of talent development initiatives for RK Industries. The person in this role should have a strong ability to develop relationships with senior leaders, HR business partners and other functional groups to deliver on enterprise talent strategies, programs and initiatives. We are looking for someone who will be strategic and solutions oriented with strong leadership, consulting and organizational development expertise who can collaborate with Sr. Leaders to drive business value leveraging our talent strategy, enterprise-wide programs, tools, processes and data.
This role will define and lead a team to drive the organization's talent agenda focused on building organizational capability, strengthening the organization's leadership pipeline, and enhancing employee engagement through high quality talent development offerings
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner directly with HR Business Partner team and Operational Leaders to align talent and business needs through enterprise strategies and resources with functional relevance.
  • Help define and deepen RK Industries leadership, team, and organizational change strategies and processes.
  • Conduct internal consulting with local senior leadership team and HR leaders to analyze and assist with leadership, team and organizational development needs.
  • Help to design and maintain programmatic enterprise-wide leadership offerings to delivering world-class learning curriculum, programs, and experiences.
  • Design and develop enterprise-wide talent strategies and solutions based on subject matter expertise in areas such as learning, performance management, goal setting, leadership talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Develop and deliver programs targeted at high performing team and employee development
  • Ensure ROI from programs, curriculum, and delivery practices
  • Evaluate impact of talent programs/initiatives and use data driven expertise to provide solutions to the business
  • Plan, design, implement and execute initiatives focused on improving organization efficiency and effectiveness through performance management, talent planning, succession and development planning.
  • Support large-scale change initiatives including leadership competency development and talent system implementation.
  • Lead project teams in change readiness, communication, leadership commitment and training activities to support complex projects.
  • Assess existing talent management systems and made recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage performance and talent planning cycles
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Effective communicator: Strong facilitation, coaching and business partnership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Skillful champion and influencer of cultural shifts that create diverse, equitable, and inclusive outcomes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Educational development training certifications, or relevant HR, L&D, OD or Coaching certifications are a plus
  • 7+ years directly related experience, preferably in a medium-large company or consultancy
  • 3+ years managing others
  • Previous experience managing organizational learning and/or performance management systems
  • Previous experience administering behavioral assessments preferred.
  • Ability to design, develop and facilitate training for others
