Get to Know Your Team:

  • UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Echo & Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination by complying with established policies and procedures
  • Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with doctors, nurses and all other individuals providing care to your patient, to ensure accurate and timely performance of all echo/vascular ultrasound procedures
  • Participates in quality improvement activities (including departmental adherence to ICAEL/ICAVL standards) by participating in the collection and organization of data to ensure quality is consistent with established standards
  • Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote improvement and compliance with ICAEL/ICAVL standards
  • Provides customer service by utilizing communication skills to ensure organizational objectives and mission is maintained
  • Maintenance and care of equipment within the department

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform all echo and vascular procedures according to ICAEL/ICAVL protocol Certification and Licensure
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Job Requirements

  • One (1) year related experience
  • Completion of an accredited Echo/Vascular Ultrasound program
  • Registry Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound
