Description

Process bi-weekly payroll files including setting up new hires and ensuring employees are properly termed as needed. Aid in the day-to-day HR processes and assist with the audit process. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

Requirements

* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, co-workers, and management

* All employees are expected to represent the company and its interests in a positive, professional manner inside and outside of the corporate environment

* Responsible for security of workstation and work area regarding confidentiality of data and systems

* Utilizes knowledge of company's purposes, rules, regulations, procedures, and practices

* Proactively communicates issues or opportunities within the department to department leadership

* Process bi-weekly payroll files and ensure that all employees are paid correctly and on time

* Prepare payroll related invoices and send to AP timely

* Run reports as needed

* Understand the HRIS system

* Prioritize tasks and use discretion to complete in a timely manner

* Assist with the department's annual goals and other initiatives

* Develops process flows and procedures

* Perform miscellaneous data entry projects as assigned by the department supervisor to assist Edfinancial with achieving its objectives

* Become knowledgeable to be back up for benefits

* Adhere to Edfinancial's Employee Handbook

* Attend meetings and provide business/department updates

* Enter data into required systems with both speed and accuracy

* Be proactive and discuss with management strategies to improve job performance

* Read the training materials and utilize resources provided by department and company

* Maintain confidentiality

* Other duties as assigned by management
