What this job involves -
As the Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the account's risk and compliance program. You will assist in controlling risk and managing any occurrences, focusing on employee, client, reputational, financial, regulatory, and legal risks. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the account operations team to understand key processes, process controls, risks, regulations, and client requirements, and contributing to the design of a strategic audit plan to test a sample set.
What is your day-to-day:
Assisting in the design and implementation of the account's risk management strategy. Supporting programs such as risk register, internal audit program, and compliance program. Reviewing and understanding material MSA obligations, and assisting in conducting gap analysis. Assisting in the annual risk assessments for the account and contributing to the determination of risk treatment. Identifying potential risk areas and making recommendations for changes and enhancements to existing practices, processes, and controls. Participating in risk governance routines or supporting risk agenda discussions in existing account leadership meetings. Assisting in supporting external audits and providing requested evidence. Assisting in the development of audit programs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge about audit tools and techniques. Preparing and contributing to audit reports summarizing observations, error trends, risks, and recommendations for operations leadership. Engaging with the JLL Ethics Everywhere program and escalating ethical questions, concerns, and violations. Communicating risk topics to the full account team, including information security best practices and risk identification. Attending meetings regularly to provide insights on risk topics or answer risk-related questions. Assisting in the account's incident management process and escalating incidents that could impact compliance with client obligations.
Desired experience and technical skills -
Required:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting/Business or related field.
3+ years of risk management and/or external or internal audit experience.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Advanced Excel skills, including the creation of reports generated from Excel data.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage at all levels of executive management and field personnel.
Strong communication and relationship skills.
Preferred:
Experience in the legal and commercial real estate industries
