Program Performance Management Internship - 2025

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles. Program Performance Management Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

Apply your classroom-learned quantitative analytical skills related to business, economics, or finance to a program supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has an immediate opening for a Program Performance Management Intern to join our team.

The Program Performance Management (PPM) intern will support a group of Program Management professionals performing activities that may include collecting program performance data and analyzing predictive measures, program metrics, maintaining databases, creating and running reports, collaborating on various projects, conducting data analysis, manipulation and visualization, and identifying areas for process improvement. The intern may research and evaluate tools and methods to improve program performance activity, providing briefings and recommendations. Intern may have the opportunity to examine aspects of program execution metrics including trend analysis, reporting, corrective actions, and program performance.

Preferred Candidate will:

• Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our growth efforts.
• Be proficient in the use of current data processing, data manipulation, analytical tools, and visualization methods; specifically, MS Excel.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task high priorities
• Be inquisitive, curious and seek to learn new skills, tools, and business applications
• Be able to self-organize while working in a remote environment
• Demonstrate the ability to read, interpret and summarize complex documents
• Follow industry trends and developments to ensure GDMS' services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practice

Target salary range: USD $21.00/Hr. - USD $24.00/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
