The Role:

Provides skin treatment, hair removal, and other processes for personal appearance and self-esteem. In addition to hourly compensation this position is paid commission at the discretion of the company, and is subject to be changed, modified, or terminated at any time.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a detailed skin evaluation, by use of magnifying lamps and specialized equipment to evaluate the skin's condition and appearance.
2. Extensive knowledge of skin types and potential allergies.
3. Must be able to perform Micro Current and Microdermabrasion.
4. Perform cosmetic applications.
5. Apply peels in order to reduce fine lines and age spots.
6. Demonstrates how to clean and care for skin properly, and recommends skin-care regimens
7. Determine which skin care products will improve clients' skin quality and appearance.
8. Performs head and neck massages and body wraps.
9. Perform professional skin care facials and extractions.
10. Remove body and facial hair by applying wax and or tweezing.
11. Must keep work areas clean and sanitary.
12. Conduct opening and closing procedures as assigned.
13. Must uphold standards of Customer Service
14. Regular attendance for scheduled work required

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance required.

Education and Experience:

Esthetician certification and applicable licenses apply.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have an esthetician license for the State of Nevada

Language Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Planning, Remembering Details, Using Arithmetic, Reading, Directing Others, Making Decisions, Discriminating colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details, Remembering names and Faces.
