Business Intelligence Analyst

Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of pressure relief, explosion protection, fire suppression and detection equipment, has an opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst position. Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO with over 400 employees locally & over 1,200 employees worldwide.

Job Summary:

Responsible for creating and building complex business system analysis and reporting in alignment with the business strategies and major initiatives. This position supports the global organization in developing and visualizing KPIs and related metrics. Understanding the organization's functions, structure, and policies is key to providing actionable insights and recommendations. This position would engage in the defining and developing of Business Intelligence programs and projects as defined by the current and future needs of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Supports the design and maintenance of Key Performance Indicator initiatives.

2. Utilizes analytical and technical skills to translate and analyze business needs into complex dashboards and reporting.

3. Maintains reporting tools structure, access, and permissions.

4. Identifies, researches, and problem-solves using data analysis, and communicates the results to various stakeholders.

5. Actively engages in the definition, development, implementation, and ongoing support of Business Intelligence programs and projects.

6. Assists in the development of data management policies and procedures.

7. Develops, implements, and maintains change control and testing processes for modifications to data models.

8. Guides end users by facilitating best practices and utilizing data management tools.

9. Ensures continuity, accuracy, and validation of reporting to support the integrity of the business.

10. Collaborates with the technology and business system teams on initiatives.

Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Work Environment:

Hybrid Work Schedule. Office in Blue Springs, Missouri. While performing the duties of this job, the environment is general office work and the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, see, sit and use hands. Minimal travel required.

Job Qualifications:

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, technology or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Five years or more of experience in business, accounting, or related fields. Strong knowledge of Salesforce products, CRM Analytics or Tableau, Google Suite, relationship databases and query tools. Ability to mine and analyze unstructured data. Ability to analyze data with a high level of accuracy. Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Be able to relate complicated information in easy to understand language. Evaluate, present and make informed recommendations.

PREFERRED: Master's degree in related field. Salesforce experience. Experience working on a team that develops goals, metrics and strategies. Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry experience.

Compensation:




  • The starting range for this position is $79,000 per year and goes up depending on experience and qualifications.
