The Department of Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible adult psychiatrists to join our growing psychiatric team. The department is recruiting for one inpatient psychiatrist at the University of Missouri Psychiatric Hospital (MUPC) and one outpatient psychiatrist at South Providence Psychiatry Clinic or Battle Avenue Psychiatry Clinic.

Inpatient opportunity exists in our 44-bed inpatient clinic at Missouri Psychiatric Center, which also offers an emergency room assessment unit to assist with crisis stabilization, intake, and discharge planning.

Outpatient care is provided at two locations: South Providence Psychiatry and Battle Avenue Psychiatry Clinic. We also offer several specialized treatments at our Interventional Psychiatry Clinic, such as Electronic convulsive therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Cranial Electrostimulation (CES), intranasal ketamine for treating refractory depression, and inpatient postpartum depression treatment.
