EnviroVantage is looking for a Waste Manager/QCM.

The Waste Manager/QCM will be responsible for ensuring proper characterization, packaging, transportation, and ultimate disposal of regulated materials in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.

Essential Functions:



  • Proven experience in waste management, environmental services, or a related field.
  • Responsibility to ensure the proper characterization, packaging, transportation, and ultimate disposal of regulated materials in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of waste regulations, recycling processes, and sustainable waste management practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and optimize waste management strategies.


Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Waste Management, or a related field
  • 3 years of waste management experience
  • Trained to properly characterize solid and hazardous waste
  • RCRA (40 CFS 261-268)
  • NESHAP (40 CFR 61 Subpart M)
  • DOT trained in accordance with 49 CFR 172 Subpart H to identify DOT hazardous materials


Working Environment/Physical Demands:



  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds
  • Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States
  • A valid driver's license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy
