Now Hiring: Join Central City Concern (CCC) as a Milieu Supervisor, Assistant Location: Central City Concern - 16 X Burnside Recovery Center (1616 E. Burnside, Portland 97214) Compensation (Salary/Year): $51,334.40 - $71,864.00 SUMMARY: The Milieu Supervisor, Assistant acts as a backup to the Milieu Supervisor by planning and facilitating client enhancement activities and supports for the day to day lives of the clients. Additionally, this position helps to lead the TA team in cohesive and trauma-informed delivery of milieu support to clients . MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS) *Note: In order to receive formal consideration for the position, please ensure your professional/working experience meets the following requirements:
- Required: High school education or GED.
- Required: Minimum of one year of experience working in behavioral health; preferably in a residential treatment program with women and children.
- Required: Working knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.
- Required: Working knowledge of effects of substance use on individuals and family systems, including parenting issues.
- Required: Must possess a current driver's license, pass a DMV background check and be designated an "acceptable" driver as outlined in Central City Concern's Fleet Safety Policy. Must pass an initial drivers training within 60 days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- At the direction of the Milieu Supervisor, provide basic supervisory support and coaching on tasks to Treatment Assistants (TA). Conduct real time problem solving to address client needs and behavioral concerns.
- Provide direct supervisory support to on-call Treatment Assistants. .
- Provide support to the milieu staff by filling in as needed during staffing shortages.
- Act as Liaison between TAs and clinicians and attend clinical meetings if the Milieu Supervisor is not available.
- Model healthy conflict resolution and provide support and feedback to TA staff f in utilizing conflict resolution skills with coworkers and clients.
- Provide observations and feedback on staff performance and training needs to Milieu Supervisor
- Provide observations and contribute to Leadership planning for expansion and improvement of client activities and experiences.
- Work closely with case managers and TAs in coordinating transportation for clients, and providing such transportation when needed.
- Work with the team, community partners and volunteers to organize and facilitate special events, such as client outings, holiday celebrations, and other activities as identified.
- Coordinate all aspects of the program's incentives program, at the direction of the Milieu Supervisor
- Attend all mandatory CCC trainings in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers' patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee.

- Ability to display non-judgmental strength-based approach with staff and clients.
- Demonstrate knowledge of community and social service agencies.
- Ability to work on weekends, with some evening hours.
- Ability to cover all shifts in case of emergency.
