We are seeking an HR Coordinator based out of our flagship manufacturing facility in Lexington, SC, to support our HR team and multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting directly to the Director of HR for GPT, this role focuses on administrative support, project management, employee engagement, training, and data analysis. Strong proficiency in Excel and data systems is essential for compiling and analyzing information that drives key business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with data, eager to learn, and capable of training leaders on new or updated HR systems.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Act as the key administrative contact for the HR team, supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Compile, organize, and analyze HR data using Excel and other data systems to generate insights for internal reports and business decisions.
  • Conduct regular reporting and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead and support HR-related projects, ensuring timely and successful execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee training programs, tracking participation and outcomes.
  • Train leaders on new or updated HR systems to ensure effective usage and understanding.
  • Facilitate HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews.
  • Provide administrative support in recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates for hourly positions.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs to ensure meaningful engagement initiatives are executed effectively.
  • Support ADP/Payroll tasks and manage FMLA-related processes as part of regular HR administration.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field ispreferred (or relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills preferred), PowerPoint, and Word; strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in data management and reporting; familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of employees, from hourly workers to senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and initiative-taking approach.
