Cranberry Township Parks and Recreation is seeking a part-time seasonal Lead Camp Coordinator for Camp Cranberry. Camp Cranberry offers flexible work schedules and competitive wages, beginning at $16.50/hour for the Lead Camp Coordinator role. Rate will be adjusted if the successful applicant has previous experience working for the Township.
This position will oversee and supervise Camp Coordinators and assist the Recreation Program Supervisor as needed. The Lead Camp Coordinator is responsible for on-site oversight of daily camp operations, including but not limited to, assisting in daily lunch distribution, monitoring the pool, and reviewing camper documents such as medical forms, authorized pickups, and ADA requests. The position is also responsible for helping Coordinators facilitate camp needs including maintaining ratios, getting supplies, or filling in for staff as needed. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a camp setting. Lifeguard certification preferred. Applicants must obtain background clearances required under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law upon hire. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2025. | |
