Cape Fox subsidiary Endeavor, LLC is accepting resumes for a Biosurety Program Manager (BPM) to provide services at the NIH's Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) located in Fort Detrick, Maryland. The BPM will be responsible for all aspects of the NIH personnel reliability program including behavioral health activities. Responsibilities:
- The BPM is required to work with assigned DOHS staff to ensure that all facets of the NIH Biosurety Program have been accomplished and are accurately and completely documented, annually, prior to Certifying Official review. The BPM will perform program reviews, recommend improvements, implement changes and assure QA/QC of the program.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary, professional team to ensure the safety and security of regulated microbial agents at the NIH.
- Coordinate activities with other NIH entities (Occupational Medical Service, Personnel Security, Select Agent Program, and others as needed)
- Perform Quality Assurance activities and engage in continuous quality improvement.
- Schedule and assure that all annual personnel reliability reviews are completed.
- Support and assist with conducting behavioral health screening for NIH Biosurety Program participants.
- Support and assist with Biosurety Program participant interviews.
- Oversee other personnel reliability activities and provide needed support.
- Provide quarterly written reports to the Certifying Official, NIH Biological Surety Program
- Make referrals to the DOHS Psychologist or NIH Employee Assistance Program as appropriate.
- Assist the Select Agent Program Manager in day-to-day management of programs.
- Ensure all SAP participants have current biosurety folders on record (e.g., current background investigations, all required trainings, occupational and behavioral health records).
- Assist the Responsible Official with preparing and maintaining records for CDC inspections.
- Be familiar with principles of workforce resiliency or receive training in this area.
- Have experience in the design and conduct of educational needs assessment.
- Have experience in the statistical analysis of data.
- Have experience in presenting research data or discipline specific information in a scientific/professional forum.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
