Counselor Shirley, MA, USA Req #3761 Friday, January 3, 2025 *Offering a $5,000 bonus!* Location: Shirley, MA. Position is located within MCI Shirley Medium. This is an all-male correctional facilities. This position will be for our General Population Services program. Pay rate: $25.14 Salary differential is paid to those who are fluent in the Spanish language. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Monday and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance Paid time off 401k with company contribution Tuition reimbursement Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required. DOC experience and CADC or LADC preferred. The General Population Services Counselor is responsible for: Assessing and evaluating inmate needs. Monitoring inmate compliance with all program and Massachusetts Department of Correction (MA DOC) rules and regulations. Facilitating classes and group sessions as defined by curriculum and according to Spectrum Health Systems standards. Maintaining records in accordance with Spectrum and MA DOC policies and procedures. Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed. Providing case management services as assigned.
