Compensation $23.00/hour to $25.00/hour depending on exp. This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position. Position Summary: Carestream has a need for an Electro Mechanical Technician at its 1049 W. Ridge Road mfg. facility in Rochester, NY.* Please take a moment to update your resume showcasing the required skills listed below before applying. Position Responsibilities: Performs required repairs to return unit to operational state per standard work instruction. Performs prescribed test procedures to verify equipment performance is to specification. Maintain DHR databases both in manufacturing and service., records document failures into a DHR database and generate reports. Operates generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures, and understands their use and function. Perform data analysis, ability to present and articulate results, issues, and solutions. Operates hand tools and small power tools and understands their use and function. Keeps supervisor apprised of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules. Completes all required paperwork/administrative tasks. Open and close calls to track hours for billing purposes and engineering analysis. Required Skills & Education: HS Diploma or GED 2+ years equivalent technical experience and/or military technical training. Strong Electro - mechanical troubleshooting skills and problem solving. Proficient with maintaining a PC: add/remove software, etc. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong technical writing skills Reliable transportation, able to consistently work the hours of Monday through Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
