Description

  • Oversees the effective performance of business solutions.
  • Grants network rights to users. Adds and deletes user accounts.
  • Monitor account space and system usage, and upgrades software as necessary.
  • Configures software for network installation and company-wide implementation. Installs and maintains network and user software.
  • Create and maintain simple scripts in Powershell for business solution automation.
  • Ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to detect computer viruses. Scans network software as needed to detect viruses.
  • Ensures Credit Union compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • Performs timely and effective user support services. Provides phone, e-mail, and in-person support to end users. Identifies opportunities to improve user satisfaction and maintains supportive relationships to ensure that needs are met.
  • Troubleshoots problems with hardware and software. Maintains an activity log of problems, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for action.
  • Provides training for end users on business solutions.
  • Take work orders and coordinates with programmers (if necessary) to assist users with more complex problems.
  • Contacts vendors and arranges for upgrades, updates, patches and replacements on software and hardware products.
  • Analyzes problems and provides technical assistance to solve them. Corrects routine operating problems by entering alternative or corrected operating commands.
  • Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company's vision statement, core values and business principles.

Education
Bachelors of Computer Science (required)
Experience
Experience using Powershell and/or other scripting software packages. (required)
Demonstrated knowledge of network operations and related computer hardware and software. (required)
Microsoft certification and advanced training preferred. (preferred)
Several years of online banking administration experience in the financial industry, with preferred Q2 system experience.
