Overview

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for recruiting and leading early talent programs. They will be responsible for the recruiting of all early talent programs such as interns, co-ops, and rotational programs. In addition, they will be responsible for coordinating and executing the events for our Summer Intern Program such as professional development workshops, speaking events with Senior Leaders, and social events. They will also collaborate with hiring managers to source, assess and select permanent and temporary talent across the organization such as for R&D, Quality, Marketing, etc.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and lead our college recruitment initiatives including establishing partnerships with key universities and colleges, attending on campus events, and organizing onsite visits.
  • Create and lead recruiting initiatives for our early career rotational program
  • Oversee the recruitment process from opening a requisition through to hire. Includes working within HR group to maintain effective processes.
  • Drive excellence in hiring: interview candidates to assess capabilities and background.
  • Conduct candidate debrief meetings to solicit interview feedback
  • Partner with Hiring Mangers and the HRBPs to develop offers that are competitive and meet internal equity levels.
  • Create a strong, positive image of Werfen in the marketplace by building and managing strong relationships with candidates, external contacts, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our business to effectively market the organization and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the demographics in the markets we recruit from and proactively share knowledge with HR team and hiring managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the recruiting process to eliminate waste and improve results.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for the Applicant Tracking System, training end users and managers as needed.
  • Report on hiring metrics including cost per hire and other related analysis regularly.
  • Participate in Affirmative Action Plan activities as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of staffing laws and regulations, ensure regulatory compliance and update the staffing process as needed.

Internal Networking/Key Relationships:

  • The TA Specialist works closely and collaboratively with members of the HR team including HRBPs, HR Managers, Compensation and Benefits.
  • The TA Specialist may assist with projects and recruiting assignments as requested by Werfen Corporate HR in Barcelona Spain
  • The TA Specialist will interface on a regular basis with employees at all levels of the organization including the Senior Management team

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience with university relations and recruitment a plus.
  • Prior experience in full-cycle corporate recruiting, including a technical/biotech/medical device environment, preferably in a corporate recruiting role.
  • Ability to lead and influence others through the recruiting process Knowledge of behavioral based interviewing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Proven track record of hiring top talent while meeting time and cost per hire goals.
  • Ability to handle vacancies in a variety of departments and levels.
  • Well versed with MS Office, especially Excel
