    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



    1. Receive instructions and necessary information from Supervisor, primarily working in a self-directed environment.
    2. Schedule workflow through area.
    3. Check furnaces, compressors, etc. and maintain in proper working condition.
    4. Operate heat treat furnaces and quench system operation.
    5. Check thermocouples for proper operation and change as required.
    6. Perform heat treat floor work.
    7. Read and record gas usage. Take test readings on furnaces as required.
    8. Input and monitor information on furnace controls.
    9. Operate overhead (cab) crane and/or radio-controlled crane as required in accordance with the HT DI's and /or instructions from the Production Manager and/or heat treat crew leader.
    10. Transport and position repair parts, machinery, equipment, supplies, etc., for maintenance or repair purposes.
    11. Detect indications of slipping or shifting loads, incorrect hitching, faulty rigging, or improper chain size.
    12. Complete daily safety checks on cranes and complete inspection calendar.
    13. Properly complete all required paperwork.
    14. Maintain inventory of needed supplies, etc. to perform duties. Receive supplies, etc. and for shipping product.
    15. Perform work in accordance with ECFG's AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
    16. At times the employee may be required to perform testing in accordance with ISO 17025, NADCAP or other Standards. During testing the employee is considered to be a part of Quality and shall not be pressured by outside influences.
