Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable technical education 5 years of previous experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of combined heat and power and central utility plants Proficiency with precision instruments, interpreting system schematic diagrams, and working in a power plant environment Schedule: Rotating Schedule: 7 days (3 AM - 3 PM), 7 days off, 7 nights (3 PM - 3 AM) Pay: $37.50 per hour As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for communicating with vendors and clients regarding plant equipment, repairs, and testing procedures. You will use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage preventative and emergency repairs, assist with service work, and conduct periodic checks on installed equipment to ensure proper functioning. You'll also troubleshoot, repair, and operate plant machinery, maintain accurate documentation, and perform other duties as required.
