Senior Engineer Salary: $145,552 - $176,919 DOE/DOQ Associate Annual Salary: $127,030 - $154,405 DOE/DOQ Assistant Engineer Salary: $112,288 - $136,487 DOE/DOQ

The City of Los Altos is seeking three engineering professionals across the Development Services and Public Works Departments, offering career opportunities at the Assistant, Associate, and Senior Engineer levels:



  • One vacancy in Development Services (Land Development, Associate Engineer or Senior Level)
  • One vacancy in Public Works (Transportation, Assistant Level)
  • One vacancy in Public Works (Environmental - Sewer/Stormwater/Solid Waste, Associate Engineer or Senior Level)


Senior and Associate Engineers are required to have a California PE license, while the Assistant Engineer level does not require a PE license; however, relevant engineering experience is required for all roles.
