Title:Information Resource Center Data Specialist
Location: Charleston, TN
Additional locations include Cleveland, TN and Houston, TX. Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week.

Focus:This position supports the Information Resource Center (IRC) by conducting research through various internal and external sources to provide historical and/or industry-specific data for various business process groups throughout the Division. This role requires a self-motivated, highly organized individual with strong computer literacy and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.

• Compiles data into large complex data sets and creates clear and actionable visualizations, including charts, graphs and dashboards to support decision-making of the end user.
• Gathers, tracks and organizes market and product data (e.g. trade flows) from our key suppliers and various forms of intelligence.
• Provides superior customer service by responding to information requests in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Investigates and trouble shoot access issues involving various vendor platforms.
• Maintains the Information Resource Center's Documentum cabinet.

• Bachelor's degree*; Business, STEM or Data Analysis preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a science related field; experience in a corporate/business information resource role preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP, Documentum, SharePoint, Google Scholar and Google patents experience preferred.
• Experience with external information retrieval databases preferred (i.e. in-depth Google searches, Patsnap).
• Clear and concise communication skills, ability to interact with all levels in the organization.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal supervision with high level of attention to detail.
• Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
• Candidates located in Charleston, TN must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
