Job Purpose and Overview

The Sr. Manager of Commercial Learning and Enablement is a leader within the Sales Operations Team for Dawn Foods North America and will report to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations. In this role, the Sr. Manager is responsible for working both cross-functionally and within the Sales Operations Team to develop and execute learning and development programs that drive successful sales growth, cross-functional operational excellence, customer acquisition, and implementation of organizational initiatives.

This role will work cross-functionally and assist in the development, delivery, and bundling of learning and development programs that have historically been spread across multiple functional groups, into one unified learning and development program.

Work Environment: This is a hybrid role in Jackson, MI at the Dawn Foods global headquarters with requirements to be in the office at least 1 day a week with travelup to 35% of the time.

What will you do as a Sr. Manager of Commercial Learning and Enablement at Dawn Foods?



  • Advanced instructional design skills for the development of SCORM (Sharable Content Reference Model) content, PowerPoint presentations, video editing using Camtasia, and ability to author content using Adobe software, Articulate, and other software solutions. Designing learning programs and custom content for the organization by partnering with functional leaders and sales team leaders to identify core skillset needs, learning gaps, and new learning needed to meet goals and execute initiatives for the organization.
  • Having the ability to deliver content synchronously and asynchronously with strong knowledge of adult learning principals, maximizing cognitive load for learners, and selecting the best mode of delivery for stakeholder groups working in office settings as well as remote workers and those who primarily work visiting customers in-person.
  • Leading and developing sales effectiveness programs to unify best practices, ways of working, and standards for daily operations across different roles within the organization, developing standards for interaction, learning, and implementation of key programs at Dawn.
  • Developing and executing effective onboarding, roll-out of key initiatives, leadership development including coaching framework to drive sales growth and commercial effectiveness.
  • Managing budgets and evaluating learning and development tools, LMS systems, and outside vendor support. Work to maximize resources to deliver learning programs that drive profitable growth while carefully working to deliver optimum OI. Will be responsible for integrating learning programs formerly located within different areas of the organization for the purpose of maximizing spend on Learning Tools and curating / mapping core content by role.
  • Provide advisory support and leadership in advocating for improvements in processes across the organization for the purpose of enhancing ease of doing business with Dawn for our customers and ease of doing business between internal stakeholders, championing growth as the #1 factor in driving long-term success as an organization.
  • Having the skill set and passion to develop, maintain, and deliver training and initiative rollouts, including supporting how the content is presented to sales via video production, instructor-led training, and training in long-format, short-format and microlearning experiences. Proven track-record of managing multiple projects and awareness of daily work responsibilities for different functions throughout the organization.
  • Providing guidance for of all content deemed "learning" within Dawn, keeping a consistent format, providing direction, and obtaining sign-off from functional partners on published learning internally, and governing roll-out timing and mode of delivery of learning.



What Does It Take to be a Sr. Manager of Commercial Learning and Enablement at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.



  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Business Administration or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting sales data
  • 5+ years of selling experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills
  • Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of the team
  • Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines
  • Strong program development, project management, and change management skills
  • A proven history of managing multiple, simultaneous, complex, multi-functional projects to tight deadlines
  • Must have keen understanding of product sales process
  • Must have excellent technical, communications and computer skills
  • Must have data management experience
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must have CRM management experience, preferrable Salesforce
  • Must have experience working with content development software such as Camtasia, Canva, and others

Compensation

$102,640 - $169,350 with bonus potential
