SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency, quality and timeliness by monitoring market trends and industry conditions.
• Possess strong negotiation and buying process with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company policy and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Evaluate supplier performance through regular audits and performance, addressing disputes and issues in a timely manner.
• Meet procurement budgets to achieve key financial objectives.
• Create a robust inventory management and material stock program; develop metrics to monitor accuracy, turnover, and discrepancies.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team to foster professional development.
• Work regularly with senior management to provide supply chain performance and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, logistics, and finance to align department activities with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related field
• 5+ years' experience managing procurement and supply chain or related roles.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPSM, or similar) is a plus.
• Prior experience leading and developing people.
• Experience within a job shop manufacturing environment (high-mix, low-volume, complex, engineered products)
• Experience within a Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Written and oral.
• Strong motivator & able to manage change and culture expectations.
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and applications.
