Job Title: Solar Tech II Job Code: J9915 FLSA Status: Non Exempt - Bargaining Unit Job Summary The Solar Tech is primarily responsible for providing support to multiple PV plant sites located throughout Duke Energy Florida's service territory on a continual/on-demand basis, in order to troubleshoot/resolve equipment issues such as emergency repairs, design change requirements, and equipment modifications and to establish O&M support for new plant(s) start-up as well as long term operation and maintenance. Role will include work scheduling, maintenance, equipment installation, and start-up support. Position will also be responsible for supporting existing equipment performance and reliability, work to support equipment testing schedules and assigning contracts, technicians, and engineers to appropriate tasks while developing processes to improve O&M output quality.
