Starting Salary Range: $77,000 - $87,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. As an Engineer I on MISO's Market Evaluation Team your work will directly contribute to ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the power grid that serves 45 million people. By analyzing and enhancing market and system operations you'll help MISO manage congestion through its market systems and ensure sufficient resources are online and available to meet system demands and support grid reliability. In this newly created role, you will evaluate and report on the health of MISO's markets, focusing on their reliability, efficiency and ability to incentivize desired behaviors. You will be part of a growing team that has the opportunity to recommend and evaluate new wholesale electricity market design initiatives to positively impact market outcomes for our stakeholders and end use customers.
