We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Service Delivery Project Manager supporting the U.S. Digital Health Team in Fort Worth, TX.

As a Project Manager for Service Readiness, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and update of our medical device software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, and customer support, to coordinate and execute projects from initiation to completion. Your primary focus will be on ensuring design for serviceability, technical service readiness, effectively managing resources, and driving project deliverables within specified timelines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:

    • Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects related to digital health service delivery.

    • Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

    • Drive project execution, monitor progress, and take proactive measures to address any potential risks or issues.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including product service engineering, technical publications, supply chain, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, clinical applications, and technical services training.

    • Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholders are informed about project milestones and deliverables.

    • Act as a liaison between different departments to resolve any conflicts or dependencies that may arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Technical Service Readiness:

    • Develop and implement strategies for technical service readiness, including service documentation, training, and field support planning.

    • Collaborate with the customer support team to define and implement service policies, procedures, and processes to ensure effective product support post-launch.

    • Identify and assess potential risks or challenges related to service readiness and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

    • Ensure all digital health solutions comply with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks.

    • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery and cloud-based solutions.

    • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience

  • Work hours: 40 hours

  • Travel: 10% Domestic

  • Relocation: No

  • Sponsorship Assistance: Yes

Preferred Experience:

  • PMP, CAPM or equivalent project management certification

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe

  • Project management experience in digital health or healthcare IT.

  • Proven track record of delivering projects using AWS Cloud technologies.

  • Experience with SAFe, Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards like HL7, FHIR, or DICOM is a plus.

  • Proficiency with AWS services and cloud architecture principles.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
