Our client in South Lake Union is looking for a Production Designer to support print and digital assets. Majority of this work will be print - interactive signage at events, booth assets, etc. Expectations to be hybrid 3x a week in SLU.
*TOP SKILLS: * 1. 7+ years of experience as a Production Designer with strong print experience showcased via online portfolio 2. Master of Adobe Illustrator - deep understanding of interworking of the tool and terminology 3. You will be a will be able to work successfully with a variety of internal, external, and global stakeholders. You develop design skills (typography, composition, and color) in order to aid your performance as Production Designer. You want to be part of a highly engaged team who values collaboration and raises for creative excellence. *Key job responsibilities* * Support the Global Brand Creative & Events design teams in production design tasks * Create and update a variety of digital and physical assets from source files ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand consistency * Partner with Art Directors and designers to understand creative intent and how to best implement creative across assets * Maintain high bar for stakeholder communication through all channels * Review and provide feedback for agency submitted artwork * Prepare branded assets for internal and agency distribution; including logos, templates, power point decks and other artwork * Possess understanding of production tools and processes, keeping current with production standards and technology * Work within a continuous improvement environment to implement design production solutions that improve output quality, increase efficiency and speed, and/or enhance customer experience * Apply broad knowledge of production skills, project workflows and file/asset management, to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision * Ensure that all projects are completed within identified timelines and outputs meet requirements for delivery across various channels (e.g. print, digital, video, and email) * Take on limited design work when required, in order to supplement team workload *Qualifications* * 7+ years of experience in a web and print Production Designer role * Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite-specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign-on Mac OS * Experience working in Figma * Work samples online, including at least 3 multi-component projects which demonstrate a dedication to high quality production * In-depth knowledge of design and production terminology * Ability to produce independently in a team environment receiving guidance from Manager or Art Director about the work that needs to be completed *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Preferred * Agency or in-house corporate creative production experience preferred * A strong interest in the technical and production side of design * Interacts regularly with Leaders, Creative Directors and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflows * Able to operate successfully in a lean, dynamic, fast-paced organization and to turn ideas into concrete action plans * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding to execute work that meets business objectives * Proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective team and internal relationships * Strong ability to prioritize tasks, organizational, and time-management * Produce technically correct, print- or digital-ready materials * Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial * Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented with strong problem solving skills * Meets/exceeds functional/technical depth and complexity for this role *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
