Position Purpose: The Global Technical Consultant (GTC) role is designed to work alongside customers at their facilities to identify potential improvements to ensure regulatory compliance, identify safety and operational efficiency opportunities. This service is a key differentiator for Ecolab's existing and potential customers. The candidate will be expected to provide support/input on technical inquiries, support customer disinfectant efficacy validation (advising on appropriate methodology, customer organisms/surfaces to be tested and experimental design) and support implementation and use of Ecolab's bio decontamination solutions. They will also provide/facilitate analytical support (i.e. initiating and steering projects where there are gaps identified in our available data) and conduct technical visits and site surveys. The role will also provide guidance to internal departments and external customers on the processes and products which can support these activities. The role is responsible for technically supporting the implementation of improvements and providing a link between customers and the internal sales teams. This role will be US based but responsibilities include liaising with customers and the sales team and traveling to international customer sites as needed. Main Responsibilities:
