Job Overview

Location: Franklin, PA

The responsibility of the HR Generalist is to maintain a favorable employee relations climate for Salaried employees by providing Human Resource assistance and support in all areas such as Salary Administration, Compensation, Problem Solving, Training, and Reward and Recognition Programs. This position is in contact with managers and supervisors at all levels and salaried employees.

Key Job Responsibilities - Salaried Administration

  1. Participate and assist HR department in salary administration for Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality groups. This includes recruitment, talent development, engagement activities and succession planning.
  2. Support the annual bonus and merit process for the Franklin facility.
  3. Participate and drive engagement activities for the Franklin location.
  4. Participate and facilitatetalent development activities, succession planning and help drive a high performance organization.
  5. Manage the Service Award Program for the Franklinfacility.
  6. Participate in ISO process and maintain the ISO training matrix.
  7. Managethe summer Engineering Internship Program from college career fairs, interviewing/hiring candidates, onboarding, and internship activities.
  8. Managethe Engineering Rotational Program from recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating rotations with manager and other locations.
  9. Manage the High School Senior Scholarship Program that is funded by Komatsu.

Key Responsibilities - Benefits Administration

  1. Provides assistance and counsel in benefits administration to all Franklin employees while working with the Corporate Benefits Departments and our Health and Wellness Vendors.
  2. Provide guidance on the 401(k) plan for all employees at the Franklin facility.
  3. Conduct benefit plan orientations for newly hired salaried employees and review benefits for those leaving the Company.
  4. Manages Open Enrollment Process for location.
  5. Act as local Wellness Champion and coordinate and manage all wellness activities including annual Health Fair.
  6. Act as liaison with HR Operations team to handle and answer questions around FMLA situations.
  7. Act as point of contact for any parental leave situations that arise.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Thisposition requires a Bachelor of Arts or Science in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Behavioral Science, or other related field. A minimum of one to three years of Human Resource experience is preferred.

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.

  • Flexibility in schedule.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Confidentiality adherenceSPHR or PHR professional certification a plus.
