Here's where you come in:

We are seeking a Utility Program Manager based in or around Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the management of a new program in Los Angeles, funded by the state of California. You will also manage or assist with management of other ongoing utility programs throughout the country. For all programs, you will coordinate and project manage the key deliverables in collaboration with the Edo technical engineering and program delivery teams. This includes setup of project schedule, management of resources, oversight of partners, financial projections, facilitating meetings, capturing previous decisions, and meeting reporting requirements. Additional responsibilities include:



  • Responsible for providing project management of a utility program, which includes scope, schedule, quality assurance, resource coordination (internal).
  • Responsible for supporting the Director of Utility programs in managing overall program budget and risk.
  • Responsible for providing world class client interface and experiences which includes regular project updates.
  • Optimization of client/project processes, tools, or approach
  • Develops, implements & measures client key performances.
  • Provide consistent client communication to ensure operational excellence, alignment to client goals and industry best practices.
  • Responsible for preparing and providing monthly, quarterly, or annual reports which includes project status, project successes, opportunities, risk, or lessons learned.
  • Continuous improvements on standards, processes, tools, or approach
  • Financial budgets or projections


What we would like to see from you:



  • 5+ years of relevant experience in complex organizations (required)
  • 2+ years of proven proficiency as a project manager (required)
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Organization Management, Project Management, Engineering (preferred)
  • Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and fiscal management (desired)
  • Knowledge of the basics of utility energy efficiency or demand response programs (desired)
  • Strong skills and knowledge in commercial building energy management, energy efficiency, and/or operations (desired)
  • Forecasting abilities of project management labor requirements (desired)
  • Experience working in or with utilities, and on State or Federal grants (desired)
  • Ability to manage projects and teams to successful outcomes
  • Ability to communicate effectively (active listening, clear communication, effective feedback)
  • Ability to understand, interpret, relay or pivot on complex business processes or requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy in challenging environments


The pay range for this position is $71,000- $109,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
