What You'll Do:

As a vital member of our team, you'll:

  • Listen to the customer and responds to customer inquiries when they call into the Customer Service Center.

  • Sell and cross-sell products and services to customers that may benefit them per Gate City Bank guidelines and expectations.

  • Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.

  • Assist other departments and offices with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and ownership in fulfilling customer requests.

  • Perform basic stop payments, disputes, pre-authorizations, and online password resets.

  • Must meet Customer Service Center Quality Assurance standards.

Other:

  • Provide a "Wow" customer service experience for team members and customers.

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and vendors.

  • Prompt and reliable attendance is essential in order to provide expected levels of service.

  • Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Your Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 10AM-8PM variable

  • Rotating Saturdays: 9am-5:30pm variable(with the additional +$5/hour Saturday pay!).

  • 12 Week Training Class Starting February 18, 2025. Training hours will be between 8am-5pm M-F. Hybrid opportunities available after training.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Call Center, customer service, cash handling, or sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

  • Enthusiasm for creating positive customer experiences.
