We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement (CI) Technician to join our team. The CI Technician will support the development, implementation, and optimization of processes aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and safety across the organization. This candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the ISO standards relevant to our industry, with experience in ensuring that all processes, products, and services comply with the highest quality standards. The ISO certified employee will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's ISO certification processes, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
  • Work closely with various departments to identify process inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on production or operational issues, identifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to enhance process flow and operational performance.
  • Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events, 5S activities, USa projects, value stream mapping, and other process improvement workshops.
  • Assist in training team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that CI initiatives are effectively integrated into daily operations.
  • Help foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving across the organization.
  • Ensure that all company processes, products, and services align with ISO standards (specify the relevant ISO standards, e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001).
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) based on ISO guidelines.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with ISO requirements and assist in external audits as necessary.
  • Work closely with various departments to support ISO certifications and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on ISO processes, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes to ISO standards and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • ISO certification (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, or other industry-relevant certifications).
  • Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Technician or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, data analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience working within ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of ISO audit processes and internal audits.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies.
  • Experience with process mapping tools, such as value stream mapping (VSM) and process flow diagrams.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or with ISO-related responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with other industry standards or certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
