Summary of Role:

This highly skilled and forward-thinking Sr. Manager of AI & ERM will be charged to support the development and implementation of our Enterprise Resilience program and capabilities, support the company's AI capabilities, and manage the interplay between AI and privacy. This role is pivotal in ensuring our company's resilience through effective crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity, while also driving the digitization of our operations. The Sr. Manager will oversee AI initiatives to enhance legal and commercial operations and operational compliance, working closely with our legal, IS and privacy teams to ensure responsible and compliant use of AI and data.

Role Responsibilities:

Enterprise Risk Management/Resilience:



  • Develop and implement an Enterprise Resilience program that enhances the company's ability to withstand and recover from crises, disasters, and business interruptions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive crisis management and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure business continuity through robust processes and practices that align with traditional operations while integrating digital advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute privacy strategies that support company-wide objectives.


AI Management and Compliance:



  • Oversee the integration and utilization of AI technologies across the organization, focusing on both commercial and operational aspects.
  • Evaluate and implement AI solutions to streamline workflows within the legal department and across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on the responsible use of AI, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Work with the legal team to address AI-related issues, such as protecting intellectual property, ensuring data security, and complying with privacy-related requirements.


Privacy and Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Partner with privacy and information security teams to develop and implement a progressive roadmap for AI and enterprise resilience that safeguards company data and IP.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to drive initiatives forward and address challenges.


Strategic Planning:



  • Develop a long-term strategy for enterprise resilience and AI management, aligning with the company's goals and future growth.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure our resilience and AI strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.
  • Develop framework and processes to govern effective evaluation and implementation of AI, including management of data and privacy obligations.



Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in a commercial and operational context.
  • Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide privacy programs.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze and address AI compliance issues, including IP protection, data security and privacy.


  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory standards related to AI, data security and privacy.
  • Knowledge of privacy and AI use implications.


  • Familiarity with information security practices.
  • Proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives.



Requirements:



  • Education -

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications in resilience management, AI or Privacy are a plus.


  • Experience -

    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in enterprise resilience management, AI, Privacy or related fields, with demonstrated success in crisis management, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, AI technology evaluation and implementation, and privacy/data security governance.
