Job Overview:A Structural Welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of 1^stclass Structural Welding experience in a shipyard or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizes knowledge of the working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, including the specifications of the equipment to be used in the welding process.
• Performs tank testing and associated duties as required.

Skills:

• Ability to pass a welding test in the overhead and vertical positions, based on the certifications being sought.
