We are looking for a Sales Enablement Specialist to help us identify and nurture new channel partnerships. As a Trex Sales Enablement Specialist, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to educate current partners and discover innovative ways to use and position our products. This role is ideal for someone just starting out or in the early stages of their sales career. This role is a key member of our Field Sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Put safety first - Always!
  • Lead and foster our "people first" culture.
  • New Customer Identification: Engage in market research, lead generation, and outreach activities to discover potential new customers. This includes attending channel partner events, making architectural calls, and conducting in-market sales visits with contractors and builders.
  • Explore New Product Uses: Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and explore additional applications for Trex products, helping them realize the full value of our offerings.
  • Channel Partner Education: Provide training and support to channel partners, educating them about product features, benefits, and effective sales techniques. Organize training sessions and offer ongoing assistance.
  • Sales Strategy Support: Assist in crafting and executing sales strategies to increase product use in new and existing markets.
  • Customer Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective customers through calls, emails, and meetings to introduce Trex products and services. Deliver exceptional service to foster relationships and drive sales.
  • Local Brand Presence: Enhance the brand presence of Trex in the physical, digital, and local spaces of existing channel partners to better serve end users.
  • Market Feedback: Gather and report feedback from customers and channel partners to refine product offerings and sales tactics.
  • Sales Pipeline Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a unified approach to customer and partner engagement.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires daily travel within the assigned market and will require occasional overnight stays. A valid driver's license is required.

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in sales or field-based marketing is a plus but not required. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Recent graduates or those with a keen interest in sales are encouraged to apply.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
