Intern IT HR Business Partner

HF Sinclair is seeking an IT Intern to support our HR function. This internship is located in Dallas, TX. This role will have day to day interaction with cross functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.

(functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

• Engage with HR business users for inquires and support their functions
• Ability to research and document HR requirement gathering
• Collaborate with experienced team members
• Provide support in QA and production environments
• Proactively work on change tickets and follow up thru completion
• Ability to create reports and use appropriate IT applications effectively

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

Enrolled in an Undergraduate Program for Computer Science or related discipline, or in a specialized technology program at an accredited school is required.

• Basic knowledge of HR process and functions
• Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and develop technical skills
• Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Prior experience with HR technology software or HR business experience is preferred.
