Office of Research & Creative Activities Job Description
The College of Arts & Science and the Office of Research & Creative Activities seek a motivated, engaged, and committed professional staff person to play an instrumental role in the growth and success of the college. The MU College of Arts & Science has a robust research culture, boasting annual expenditures of approximately $31M. The goal is to increase expenditures significantly in the coming years while maintaining superb customer service. This position will join an established team with flexible working arrangements. The primary function of the Business Support Specialist II position is to assist with pre-award activities related to Arts & Science grants and contract and managing the A&S internal grant support programs. The position reports to the director of the Office of Research and Creative Activities, works directly with faculty, and assists with a variety of tasks and projects. The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, but also be willing and able to work independently. Shift
Typically, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with some work from home available upon successful completion of onboarding. Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
