JOB SUMMARY: BioCryst is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company with an immediate opening for an Associate Systems Administrator, Lab Information Systems who can effectively support and manage the company's technology strategy and daily operations of the company's laboratory systems in Birmingham, AL. The Associate Systems Administrator, Lab Information Systems primarily supports the overall health and daily performance of the laboratory data acquisition systems and laboratory information systems (LIS), such as electronic laboratory notebook, stability, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Key responsibilities for this role will be to provide daily operational support for the above systems, develop and maintain lab system strategy by closely collaborating with leadership across functional teams, and ensuring that standards exist to allow our scientists to be successful in meeting business objectives. You will be responsible for a complex enterprise application environment that changes rapidly to meet the evolving requirements of a growing enterprise of applications and client demands. This position is challenged with providing reliable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
