Requirements
Four (4) years of technical experience in support of design, testing, deployment, and operations of DCGS-N or other C4ISR programs
- Have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification for Cyber Security Work Force assignment
- Possess Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
- Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar).
- A Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience software testing or 6+ years' experience testing and reporting Intelligence related software functionality
- Understanding of U.S. Navy Intelligence Operations
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with Department of the Navy Intelligence disciplines including SIGINT and IMINT
- Certified CompTIA Security + or higher or the ability to attain within six (6) months of hire
- Be willing to travel up to 40% and able to get underway on a U.S. Navy ship for up to two weeks
- Have a valid Passport
- Have an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
Desired Skills
- Former U.S. Navy IT, IS, CTT or other service equivalent
- Ten (10) or more years with experience with research, design, testing, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
- Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting
- Extensive experience with Distributed Common Ground System operations, applications testing and reporting
- Experience with Intelligence applications like GCCS, GALE, SOCET-GXP, FADE, LRF, Cedalion
- Completion of DAU Test & Evaluation Level 1 or 2 a plus
- Expert with MS Office applications
Description
Distributed Common Ground System-Navy (DCGS-N) Testing and Evaluation (T&E) personnel and will be responsible for performing a full range of system testing and quality assurance tasks in support of DCGS-N systems. Duties will also include, but are not limited to:
- Developing automation scripts for executing tests on Windows and Linux servers and workstations
- Providing systems analysis and testing support to the sustainment and upgrade of various DCGS-N systems, including responding to technical and programmatic data calls related to the DCGS-N System Initiation and conducting studies examining upgrades and changes to DCGS-N systems
- Preparing Test Plans and Reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Preparing travel schedules according to the customer requirements
- Participating and conducting System Operation and Verification Tests (SOVT), System Operability Tests (SOT), Deploying Group Systems Integration Testing (DGSIT), and recommending personnel for participation
- Performing software testing in support of Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAV) acceptance testing and DCGS-N system patches and security
- Participating in staff meetings, System Engineering Review Boards (ERB), and technical exchange meetings; and meetings to verify system functionality with overall security architectures
