The IDS 3D Printing Technician will:

1. Demonstrate competency in the operation of 3D Printers.

a. Stratasys J850 Digital Anatomy Printer
b. Stratasys J5 Medijet DAP 3D Printer
c. EOS Formiga P110
d. Forms
e. TAZ

2. Demonstrate competency in Post-Processing Machines.

a. DEMI830 Post-Process
b. Tumbler
c. WaterJet
d. Sand Blaster
e. EOS Post-Processing Station
f. Formlabs Post-Process

3. Responsibilities for 3DAMS Prints.

a. Attend weekly 3DAMS Rounds to understand the status of projects that are currently
active.
b. Provide support to the Development Engineer for 3DAMS orders
c. Maintain highest priority to meet surgeon requests
d. Provide recommendations to the team on methods to optimize printing processes

4. Additive Manufacturing Requests.

a. Responsibility for work put in queue.
b. Properly scheduled to meet development progress in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
c. 3D printing documents
d. Update 3DP tracking sheets weekly
e. Update packaging excel documentation regularly
f. Manage resin, equipment, and supplies inventory and restock when necessary
g. Machine maintenance schedule to keep track of when the preventative maintenance for each 3D printer was conducted and by whom

5. 3D printing stewardship.

a. Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable work environment
b. Ensure all extra supplies are stored in an appropriate area
c. Perform regular cleaning for the equipment and area

To qualify You should have:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2. One year of experience with 3D printing and post processing.
3. Prior experience with 3D printing and modeling.
4. Hands-on experience working in a lab environment.
5. Ability to use a computer and the main software packages confidently
6. Analytical thinking skills.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Effective communication skills.
9. Strong organizational abilities.
10. Sharp problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to work independently without any supervision.
