Are you a professional and results-driven candidate with five years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience? Advantage xPO is seeking new talent in Nashville, TN, and hiring an experienced HVAC Technician for a nationally recognized leader in integrated Facilities Management. The candidate selected for this exciting direct-hire opportunity will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of the Company's line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.

Pay: $32-$34 per hour

Shift Details: Monday-Friday with night and weekend availability required

HVAC Technicians are responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of commercial HVAC systems. Key duties include:



  • Performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and servicing HVAC systems.
  • Conducting thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on package and split unit systems, including belts, pulleys, condensate drain lines, compressors, motors, burners, heat exchangers, and safety controls.
  • Repairing and maintaining steam/hot water boiler systems, diagnosing airflow and ducting issues, and ensuring the safe and EPA-compliant handling of refrigerants.
  • Safely diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, or system failures.
  • Utilizing technology to access and complete work orders, and submit service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs.
  • Procuring necessary materials and supplies to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients through consistent communication and high-quality service, fostering customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:



  • HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
  • Certified 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license.
  • 5 years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry required; or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing. Must possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration License.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, communication, technology, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (email), MS Office (word, Excel).
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift 75 pounds.
