Job Purpose

This person must exhibit an understanding of the importance of a controlled environment for tracking configuration or data changes. The position will work with other finance and accounting personnel and the regional business partners in the FP&A organization. This position must be able to report information in a concise and meaningful manner. This person will have a firm understanding of the structure and functionality of general ledger and accounting systems. This person will need to possess a desire for learning and understanding the company's accounting and finance application structure in order to help maintain and improve HFM and FDM.

What you will do...

This position is responsible for the Administrative functions of Oracle and OneStream products. This individual must be adept in all aspects of managing complex Oracle and OneStream environments (Development, Quality Assurance, and Production).

As an administrator, this position will be responsible for:



  • Managing all Oracle functions as they relate to supporting the monthly close
  • Monthly maintenance, including mapping changes, changes to standard reports, supporting/coordinating software updates and patches, and any related testing, and managing all utilities and tools, including security for users
  • Understanding shared services component for provisioning users via groups and knowledge of Life Cycle Management for promoting apps from Dev to QA to Production
  • Assessing how the system can help support changes in the business environment including acquisitions, dispositions, retrospective application of new accounting standards, and executing plans and developing future plans to leverage the application technology.
  • Development and deployment of OneStream functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with IT focus
  • CPA is preferable
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience on Oracle EBS on prem version 12
  • Effective project management, process planning and implementation skills
  • Strong accounting knowledge (journal entries, T-accounts, impact to financial statements)
  • Oracle Trouble Shooting, Tuning, Disaster Recovery, Backups and Restore, Security
  • Oracle Components Installation, Patching, Upgrades
  • Experience with archiving and migration
  • Execution / documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • OneStream functionality development


Administration experience with Oracle's EBS version 12

Skills

  • Familiarity with accounting system procedures, and various General Ledger systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in order to conduct training sessions and engage with business partners in a global setting effectively.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt approaches based on the situation presented.
  • Strong time management skills and effectively able to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrates an ability to be a quick learner with a desire to continually build his/her skill set and experiences in order to facilitate lateral or upward movement in the organization.
  • An orientation toward positive change and continuous improvement

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
