Job Description
Kearney & Company is seeking a PPBE Reform Project Manager to join our team - onsite at the Pentagon! Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in the management of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Reform Implementation for Department of Defense (DoD) activities
- Assist government leads in developing key performance indicators and success metrics for implementation tasks
- Collect inputs from department stakeholders; ensure timeliness and completeness of each input
- Develop visualizations for and create monthly and quarterly status reports for senior leadership
- Suggest and implement process improvements
- Assist with the distribution and consolidation of RFIs from internal and external organizations.
- Assist with the development Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily
- Must possess a Secret clearance
- Experience building Gantt charts and other project visualizations using project management software or MS Excel
- Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with pivot tables and other advanced features of Excel
- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods
- Must have outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across DoD
- Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in translating stakeholder requirements into executable solutions
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other similar certification
- Experience with and understanding of the PPBE process and current reform efforts
- Familiarity with the DoD Strategic Management Plan (SMP)
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
- Federal budget or DoD budget experience

This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law.
