Location: South Chicago Area Job Type: Full-Time

Details: High School Learning Specialist. Co-Teaching 3 periods of World Literature and 2 periods of World History. Co-Teaching US History and African-American Literature classes, 1 period of self-contained Civics Class.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver high-quality, dynamic lessons across various educational settings.
  • Evaluate students across grade levels to plan interventions and develop instructional strategies.
  • Support children with developmental, educational, and speech/language challenges to help them overcome obstacles.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to meet the educational and functional needs of each child.


Qualifications:



  • Learning Behavior Specialist I License issued by the Illinois State Board of Education - Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required.


A Day in the Life:
As a Learning Specialist, you'll design and implement instructional plans that support children with diverse educational and developmental needs. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students, helping them grow academically and socially in ways that are enjoyable and rewarding.
