Overview TRC is seeking a client facing Special Projects Manager to be a subject matter expert (SME) to manage and grow our municipal client base in North Carolina, Virginia and the surrounding states. The ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter with the capacity to manage multiple tasks working under the guidance of the Director and the management team. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with internal team members and external customers. They will understand clients and project needs and have the technical and management acumen to remove barriers and drive the teams toward solutions as needed. They must be detail-oriented, organized, have strong communication and customer service skills, and the capacity to handle multiple urgent priorities. Program support will include communication, business/marketing strategy development, solution development, opportunity identification, project management, and more. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the municipal government landscape and relationships to help push forth program goals. A hands-on approach combined with program management knowledge is desired to lead/assist the team to achieve their goals. Responsibilities
